Youth Circus Aerial classes build a strong foundation and an introduction into the varied world of aerial arts.
Students will be challenged to try a variety of different apparatus such as corde (rope), fabric, trapeze, lyra, and hammock. Classes will teach tricks while focusing on connecting to the equipment, how to move in the air, strength building, and flexibility.
A typical class will include a cardio warm up, a stretch cool down, and focus on two aerial apparatus each week. Classes are mixed level and great for both beginners and those with some prior experience.
Mixed Aerial/Ground classes
Do you want to know what it’s like to be in the circus? This class lets students try different circus skills throughout the course. Students will be challenged and learn something new each week as they work through a variety of circus skills including tightwire, juggling, spinning plates, diabolo, equilibristics, tumbling, aerial arts, and clowning/ physical comedy.
A typical Class will include a cardio warm up, a stretch cool down, and a focus on 2 or 3 unique circus skills. Classes are mixed level and great for both beginner and intermediate level students.
