This class is meant to be an introduction to the world of aerial arts. Students will be challenged to try a variety of apparatus such as Corde (Rope), Fabric, Trapeze, Lyra, and Hammock. Classes will teach tricks and progressions but will focus on connecting to the equipment, how to move in the air, strength building, and flexibility.
A typical class will include a cardio warm up, a stretch cool down, and focus on two aerial apparatus each week. Classes are mixed level and great for both beginners and students with minimal aerial experience.
Teen Circus will cover a large variety of circus skills, including but not limited to : Juggling, Plate Spinning, Stilt Walking, Aerial arts, Tumbling and more. Students will be guided to try new skills but each week will also included an independent study portion where students are encouraged to work on the skills that really speak to them as individuals.
